We have created this acclimation kit especially for our tissue culture plants, in order to make acclimating them as easy as possible. Our acclimation kit is a combination of our favourite items, which will definitely help you in the first phases of your plant's life!

What's in the acclimation kit?

 	
A small pot without drainage holes to initially plant your plant in, including a mix of 50/50 perlite and fluval stratum. This is a great mix to further root your plant and for the first leaves! The fluval stratum provides the plant with loads of nutrients, and the perlite makes the mix airy. The optimal conditions for growth!
 	
A transparent plastic pot with drainage holes together with a humidity dome with valve. Initially, this combination is perfect to put your plant in! An easy way to offer the plant the 100% humidity it is used to, when you keep the valve closed. When your plant has outgrown the small pot, this is the perfect next pot to plant it in. Because both pots are transparent, you can easily monitor the roots.

Using the acclimation kit

 	
Plant your plant in the top half of the small pot (depending on the size of the plant), and make sure there is a layer of water in the bottom 25-30% of the substrate. Refill the water when you see it running low, so that the substrate does not draw moisture from the plant. Keep the valve on the dome closed for the first few weeks. When the plant is stable and growing, you can slowly start opening the valve, and eventually take off the dome for longer and longer periods of time.
 	
When your plant is big enough you can repot it into the larger pot. You can use a substrate of your choice for this, but try not to be too wild with the roots. You can reuse the small pot for corms or other plants.
